Regional Research Institute (Homoeopathy), Imphal is a premiere research institute in the North East Region under the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), New Delhi, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. The Institute has upgraded the laboratory by procuring three machine in 2021 namely
The investigations performed in the institute are CBC, Stool/Urine, Blood sugar, Pregnancy Test, LFT, KFT, Thyroid Profile etc.
There are 367 title books and cumulative no. of books in the Library are 1036.
Infrastructure
Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal had allotted one hectare of land within their campus standing on Patta No. 714 of Village no. 91 (A) Lamphelpat No. 2007 to CCRH out of the land allotted to RIMS, Imphal for construction of building of research centre on a lease of 99 years through an agreement executed on 19th November 2012 between Director, RIMS and Officer in Charge, RRI (H), Imphal representing CCRH, New Delhi.
CCRH had invested an amount of 2.66 Cr for construction of the boundary wall of the allotted land. The Popular Pisciculture Association (PPA), Manipur filed a case in NGT Kolkata vide OA No. 27/2016 (EZ), earlier OA No. 569/2015 (PB) claiming possession of the said area (which they claim as a water body). However, vide order 03-06-2020 of NGT, Kolkata the case stands disposed off as withdrawn with the expectation that the possession of the PPA, Manipur over the water body in question shall not be disturbed until final decision is taken by State Government.
