About us
The Homoeopathic Treatment Centre at Safdarjung Hospital, functioning under CCRH, is a premier facility dedicated to delivering free and accessible Homoeopathic care to the public.
The Homoeopathic Treatment Centre (HTC) at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, was established on 14th January 1998 to provide quality Homoeopathic healthcare services to all patients seeking consultation. The Centre operates under the aegis of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and functions within a tertiary care hospital setting. Over the years, the daily OPD footfall has significantly increased. It is equipped with a fully functional Homoeopathic pharmacy where medicines are dispensed free of cost. Diagnostic and laboratory investigations for HTC patients are facilitated through the laboratory and imaging services of Safdarjung Hospital, ensuring continuity of care.
Our core mission is to provide holistic, evidence-based Homoeopathic treatment, especially to underserved populations, within a tertiary hospital environment. A team of qualified Homoeopathic physicians and trained support staff work under the scientific and ethical framework of CCRH ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care. We uphold the values of integrity, empathy, clinical excellence, and public service, ensuring every patient receives individualised attention and respect.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centre remained fully operational, offering preventive and treatment services as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. A mass prophylaxis programme covering 7,140 individuals, including frontline workers, was successfully conducted at the Centre.

Future vision
The future vision of the Homoeopathic Treatment Centre at Safdarjung Hospital is to develop into a Centre of Excellence in Homoeopathic healthcare, research, and integrative medicine. The centre aspires to offer high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centric Homoeopathic services while promoting its integration with mainstream healthcare systems. It envisions expanding its clinical reach through the introduction of specialized Homoeopathy clinics for chronic and lifestyle disorders, geriatric disorders etc. and enhancing OPD capacity to meet growing patient demands. The centre also aims to become a hub for clinical and literary research, contributing to the scientific validation of Homoeopathy through outcome-based studies and publications.
