Library Introduction
Research & Development activities in CCRH are supported by a fully computerised library with a rich collection of relevant books and periodicals and an Information Centre which provides many services as well as on-line response to queries.
The inception of the CCRH Library and Information Centre dates back to 1979 when a small library was set up with a small collection of about five hundred publications to start with. The library then, was set up to primarily to meet the information needs of the Research Staff of the Council. With the passage of time, the library developed at a fast pace, and, in order to cater to the ever increasing R&D information needs of the professionals, it systematically and gradually grew as a collection of specialized reading materials such as books, periodicals, reference works, serials in the areas of Homoeopathic Research and Drugs & Pharmaceuticals. The wealth of this highly specialized library now draws attention of the academic and R&D workers of other institutions in the city like Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College etc. and Homoeopathic Medical Colleges and research scholars outside the city as well.
