Future vision
VISION AND MISSION |
• New short term research projects on prevalent local diseases can be taken up. One such proposal for haemorrhoids has been submitted under IMR scheme to Hqrs. • Studies on Acne Vulgaris, Urinary Tract Infection, Migraine and Health Awareness Camp (Approx. 3 days in a week) • It is also proposed that collaboration with other research institutes/ medical hospitals in the area could be undertaken for taking up research studies to assess role of Homoeopathy for different diseases prevalent in coastal regions etc. • Strengthening of Infrastructure for developing Unit into a Centre of Excellence and upgrading it into a Regional Research Institute for research. • |
FUTURE PLAN (Reforms proposed) |
• Laboratory of the Unit needs segregation owing to guidelines by UT Pollution Control Board for biomedical waste management. • It requires optimum working conditions with drainage facility. • Talks are in progress with the landlord of present rented building, and he has agreed to provide one rented room by March 2022, for running laboratory in the same premises on the first floor with drainage facility and attached toilet. • The proposed room rent will be approx. Rs 7000/ month plus electricity charges and water charges ie Rs 100/ month for a year, and 10% increase every year thereafter. • Letter for approving the proposed plan has been sent to CCRH Hqrs. |
