About us
Regional Research Institute (Homoeopathy), Hyderabad (renamed from Drug Standardisation Unit (H), Hyderabad since 2022) is a regional level Institute of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India in Telangana providing quality health care services, and pathological/biochemical laboratory facilities to the patients, apart from its basic objective of carrying out the clinical research.
The institute is now exclusively dedicated to clinical research with a special focus on Lifestyle diseases and Homoeopathy. The institute has been actively conducting medical camps/health melas during various natural calamities, epidemics, and rendering services to the poor and needy people. The number of patients visiting the institute has been increasing exponentially in recent years. The institute has been accredited with NABH entry-level certification and is also committed to providing quality lab services with NABL M(EL)T certification.

Infrastructure
The institute is functioning at the Osmania University building (2230 sft.) O.U.B-32, Vikrampuri, Road No.4, Habsiguda, Hyderabad, from 1985-2017 free of rent, and from January 2018, Rs 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) is being paid as rent per month as per the MoU signed between the authorities of Osmania University. Further, the Extension Unit of DSU(H) situated in Princess Durru Shehvar Children’s & General Hospital, Hyderabad has been merged and accommodated in this institute w.e.f. April 2020.
